FAQ
Guaranteed Relief?
I guarantee 100% satisfaction or your money back regarding my promise that your life will improve significantly in this particular area after completing the work with me one-on-one and following your Integration Plan.
E.g. if you worked on “feeling overwhelmed when my gf explodes” and your usual debilitation had been an 8 out of 10…
I guarantee this will improve by AT LEAST 4 points on the 1-10 scale.
Applying the example, after 9 weeks of integration, you would experience
a) significantly less, if not zero explosions anymore (yes, this work causes weird, indirect consequences like this all the time),
b) no real debilitation anymore (you know in your bones it’s not a measure of your value, so you’re simply capable of responding in the most constructive ways the moment calls for),
or
at the least,
c) you consistently rate the severity of debilitation a 1 or 2, maybe a 3 or, at the most, a 4 on a scale of 1-10: four points less than before.
I’d be very surprised if all you got was c (the guarantee,) because when the stress experienced in any particular situation goes down, your dread goes down. And when dread about a situation is low, ironically it gets significantly easier to prevent it from happening in the first place.
What's a "MOOD-BOMB"?
Instead of making feelings “go away” we help them get unstuck, get smarter, and work together in harmony.
What would you call a process that dismantles the mechanisms that make you, in turns, reactive, then despondent, then irate this keeps happening to you?
Given the devastating, surprising, yet paradoxically predictable nature of the almost unfathomable, hard-to-detect stuff that makes us tick, I think “land mine” or “time-bomb” comes closest to how things were before… and confident/peaceful are good words for how they feel after.
What's an Integration Plan?
Each Integration Plan involves a commitment to spend 5 minutes/day reflecting on our work, several days a week.
20 minutes if you don’t already have some kind of meditative or exercise practice.
Reflecting on 9 different, very specific types of juiciness/relief you’ve gained traction with in session takes 9 weeks: 1 week each.
If reflection is too passibe for you, an Integration Plan is a unique-to-you game plan. where you come up with each of the 9 enjoyable mindfulness-type exercises yourself, with my support.
If you do all the session work in one 3-Day Retreat, you’ll get to have, separately from that, nine weekly 20-minute integrative visits to celebrate and ease the switch from one week’s self-assigned mindfulness practice to the next. Those are called Integrative Visits.
Integrative Visits are different from Quality Assurance (which is about my performance) in that they can be built into weekly sessions if you go the slow and steady route.
A big Care Package via snail mail?
Who doesn’t love receiving gifts in the mail?
I don’t want to ruin the pleasant surprises for you, but I will say that this Medium Flat Rate USPS Priority Box contains a few kilos of fun!
It also gives you absolutely necessary materials you’d otherwise have to download and print yourself on hum-drum printer paper, in the fancier, more rewarding, more awesomely satisfying version I learned on!
A thumb drive for recording all our Zoom meetings?
Because afterward, as well as during, you’ll want proof of how (and how very quickly) the long-standing issues finally… simply… dissolved…
Plus, storing it in a physically separate place (not on your hard drive, and not in the Cloud) honors the sanctity of what really took place.
A "satisfaction tracking app"? ...Is that mandatory?
Yes, but if you keep tabs on your inbox, it wouldn’t necessarily require a smart phone.
It’s not AI.
No download required!
It’s an in-browser app, and it’s more secure, useful, and light-weight than just any old “client portal.” And it has dark mode.
It requires Chrome. You can try it today for free if you’re curious. (Caution: that link opens up a bright white screen.)
What the app does
You know how, when you learn a new word, using it a couple of times makes a big difference in how much it sticks in your mind?
In session, you come up with 7-9 deep insights that deserve/require integration into daily life, to improve it.
Each insight can be transformed into an action that takes 5 minutes or less per day, if practiced for 5 days. At the rate of 1 insight per week, integrating 7-9 insights takes 9 weeks total.
The app makes it easy to send yourself email/text reminders at specific intervals, jog your own memory with quick, helpful images, or present yourself with prompts that make even the most journal-averse person’s pen start to flow, because… the work you and I did together shaped the prompt you gave yourself.
It’s not that nothing will stick if you don’t do these self-assignments. It’s more that, if you do do them, you’ll feel less weird about how subtle-but-impactful the work was.
It prevents you from feeling an uncanny urge to revisit the work we did later on. It’ll feel more thoroughly real and solid in everyday reality, because it will be: it’s been properly integrated.
"Fun follow-up visits"?
This work has real effects on your experience of reality. Like what a lot of people report after psychedelic awakenings.
It’s not like you’re in a permanently altered state of mind… It’s more like your default settings are no longer automatic or choiceless.
You’d notice more options where there used to be painful assumptions. Your actions are simply different; more like the real you.
To maximize the staying power of this positive shift, integrative visits are likely to be part of your bespoke, personalized Integration Plan.
What are Quality Assurance Calls?
Do you use AI?
(I did use it to find some CSS to hide the Featured Images from the top of this and other pages after 3 hours of online research.)
